Unidentified weapons? - Guild Wars Forums

1. how do i identify them? (if you can)

2.what does it do when it is identified?

cause i have neumerous weapons which are unidentified and its been bugging me ever since...

plz help me out with this. Thanks

Buy an Identification Kit from the Merchant, double click it and then click on the unidentified weapon, etc.

when its unidentified...you just cant know the stats unless you test it or you ID it.

and identifying can unlock weapon mods and runes for use in PvP

just a side point: you can also identify non blue/purple/gold items... doing so will popup its value at merchant... which is rather useless (halve of the time you before you merch them you get to see the value any way)

but you waste you id kit uses....

You get more when you sell white items IDed to the merchant...you gain money most of the time (sometimes it IDs to a price that isn't worth the 1 ID usage).
